Marvin Jacquez

    Since the age of 9, Marvin Jacquez has always loved flooring! His humble beginnings as an apprentice under his father, a well-respected master union flooring installer with over 45 years’ experience. He took to his father’s work ethic and respect for the trade and became a licensed flooring contractor by age 22. At that time he was contracted to provide high-end residential and commercial work all over the state of California. Marvin has worked for many celebrity clients such as Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, and Winona Ryder (to name a few). He also spent 2 months living and working on the Queen Mary where he was hired to install a highly skilled historical restoration of hand-cut inlayed linoleum flooring. His work is still admired by the public to this day. In addition to having a plethora of happy residential clients, Marvin gained a stellar reputation for commercial projects in the healthcare industry or hospitals such as Kaiser Permanente, Scripps, LA Children's Hospital, Banner University Medical Centers, Abrazo, Honor Health and Dignity Healthcare.

    While growing his company, Groundworks Flooring LLC., he was approached by a commercial flooring distributor to run their technical department. For nearly 10 years he was commissioned to provide technical training classes, installations, and inspections throughout the United States and Europe. He conducted CEU credit courses and also wrote a new linoleum specification for the Los Angeles Unified School District. After moving to Arizona in 2015 he obtained his AZ ROC license. He is licensed in both Arizona and California for all residential and commercial projects.
